Moving near TJ

We are located in Herndon currently. Has any one moved near TJ to avoid commute time?

Do you have other kids who may not end up at TJ?

Are you kidding me?

Why? It might be premature if they don't know if they've been accepted. But I would certainly move if my child applies and gets in. Why make them ride a bus for an hour if there are other options? Even if they have other kids, decent schools like Lake Braddock and Woodson feeders are not that far from TJ.

I'm having the same dilemna. We are thinking about waiting a year and see if DD likes TJ. She might find out that TJ is not a good fit and want to go back to base HS.

Don't underestimate the impact of the commute to TJ on quality of life.
