Hi, I'm newly pregnant (almost 7 weeks) with twins and am looking for a doctor who delivers at Holy Cross Hospital. I know with twins, it can be complicated and there is a higher risk of pre-term delivery and know that Holy Cross has a great NICU, so I would like to deliver there. I also know that a lot of the OBs at Capital Women's Care deliver at Holy Cross, but have heard horror stories (especially with more complicated pregnancies) about Capital Women's Care. Can anyone recommend a good OB for high risk pregnancies that delivers at HC? Preferable one with early hours (8am or earlier), but please send recommendations my way even if they don't have early hours.
And if anyone has a good perinatologist affiliated with HC, I would appreciate that as well. Thanks! |
| No recs but congrats on the twins!!! How exciting! |
| I delivered at holy cross with Capital women's care in Silver Spring and they were great (including for early am). Have you seen anyone there? You're going to hear horror stories about everywhere. I recommend Dr. Sosin there who is young and chill and great. If you need an MFM, Dr. Pinckert did a great job of working with them for my high risk pregnancy but he, like many MFM, doesn't do deliveries. |
| I am high-risk and go to Capital Women's Care in Fairfax. My doc is very competent (switched from GW horror) and I will deliver at INOVA Fairfax. I think you're in good hands with them. Don't read too many horror stories and stay away from GW. |
| I had my twins at Holy Cross. My Ob was awesome and I did go into pre-term labor and my twins were in the NICU. Call Ob-Gyn and associates. Dr. Bradford Klienmann was my Ob. He is awesome! He has twins himself and he also had me see the MFM doctor in the same building--he is attached to Holy Cross, like in the physicians part! I was delivered by Dr. Morales, who was beyond amazing. And I also love, love Dr. Wilson. You cannot go wrong with them! Best wishes! |

Thanks Ladies! I've been to Capital Women's Care in Silver Spring and I can't remember the name of the doctor who I saw. She was in her third trimester in May 2015. I just looked on the site and don't see her. I've heard that Dr. Sosin was good, but I think that she was out when I went there. I liked the doctor who I saw, but then a friend of mine lost her baby at 23 weeks and thought that it was CWC's fault for sending her to hospital on bed rest (she didn't go to the Silver Spring location) Thanks for pointing out that every place will have horror stories. For the lady who mentioned Dr. Sosin, you mentioned that yours was a high risk pregnancy as well, can you elaborate please? Thx.
I'll check out OB GYN Associates as well, thanks! |
Dr. Kleinmann and Dr. Wilson sound awesome. Will definitely check them out. Thank you! And thanks for the well wishes

| Loved Dr Pinckert!!!! |
| Thank you!! ? |
I'm that PP. I was high risk due to 2 miscarriages, a stillbirth at 28 weeks (placental abruption), a uterine anomaly and advanced maternal age. I switched to CWC from RHJN and couldn't have been happier. I delivered via scheduled c section at 37 weeks (Sosin did the surgery). At CWC, I didn't particularly like Dr. Band's bedside manner though he seemed like a knowledgeable person. Anyway, everyone at CWC in that office was very kind and compassionate in my pregnancy after numerous (and traumatic) loss. They did a good job coordinating with Pinckert too. If I ever try again, I hope to stick with that team. |

I am the pp who had twins at HC and used Ob Gyn Associates (Kleinman/Morales/Wilson). I realized I should tell you that Dr. Morales gave me a choice between natural and c-section when I was in pre-term labor. She told me the risks of both and let me make the decision. The farther away I am from the situation, the more I appreciate that she empowered me like that. I chose a c-section.
Also, they work with Pinkertt. Who is very nice! |
I second Saosin.. she was amazing! |

Have you considered the CWC just up Colesville on Lockwood?
I had a great experience there, and there is a perintologist in the suite next door. |
