| I am in between sizes in Jcrew Matchstick jeans. I bought the smaller size because the larger size is too baggy in the legs and butt. The smaller size fits well, but is a hair to snug at the waist and gives me muffin. Have you ever had jeans let out at the waist? The waistband seems like one tube of fabric so I don't know how it would be done. |
| No you can't because there isn't available fabric as there is in dress trousers. Sorry. |

No. But you can stretch the waist, especially easy if they have a bit of spandex in the fabric content. Either way, wash your jeans and then put them in the dryer for only about 20 minutes. Take them out and give them a good pull by grasping the waistband at both sides. If the rise is a little snug you can put you foot in the crotch and pull up a bit.
I know this sounds crazy, but I use this method almost every January after putting on a few pounds during the holidays. This saves me from having to buy bigger jeans until I get back in shape. |
| You can reposition the button to give you a tiny bit of extra room. Otherwise, you can have "triangles" sewn into the sides of the waistband. Think of little wedges of fabric. I know people that did this to wear jeans while pregnant. |
