| I hate having to sign up to bring snacks for other peoples kids at practice and games. Wish we could just provide for our own kids. |
| I feel the same way about school snacks. Do they ever end or are snacks now a permanent part of school? |
| Your kids' teams are bringing snacks for after practice? That is ridiculous and I would complain. |
| There was a sign up for snacks after our 4 year old's soccer practices. So annoying. |
+1 I am fine with bringing snacks once or twice a season for games, but I am not bringing snacks to practice when people are coming from and/or going home. |
| it is totally ridiculous. our email actually said, "they play hard and give everything they;ve got on the field" um, the kids are 4 and spend a lot of time picking grass and twirling in circles. Add to that the fact that it becomes a free for all for the masses of siblings and you end up needing to bring enough for them as well ... it just seems totally unnecessary. |
| If you don't like it, then why sign up? |
|
I can't stand snacks after practice. They're going home for dinner!
Snacks after a game are ok. Orange slices at halftime are my favorite and seem to be sufficient to me! |
| We do orange Slices at half time and that's it. So glad we don't do junk after practice! |
| I don't mind the snacks. I do mind when people bring junk like cupcakes and cookies. How about apples slices! |
| I don't understand why kids need a snack after 50 minutes of activity. |
|
This trend will die soon.
But not soon enough. |
| I always do, because I'm not going to let my DD eat some of the crap other people bring. |
Huh? what grade is your kid in that they are still doing group snacks?! |
| Costco. Box of juice, box of Veggie Straws. Done. Every time it's my up. Take it or leave it! |
