| How terrified are town of Kensington folks about the redrawing of high school boundaries in a few years? |
| I wouldn't be worried. Railroad tracks will be the dividing line. |
Those of us on the other side of the line can hear you, you know. It's not a horror movie over here. |
| I could see Connecticut Ave. being the dividing line. East of Conn. being sent to Einstein. |
| Not terrified ...why are you interested? |
| Being surrounded by Catholics is the most terrifying part. |
| When will this happen? |
There's another thread about a woman worried about buying in the WJ area because of fears she end up assigned to Woodward. It got me thing about tok folks. |
| Yes, be terrified of those of us on the other side of the tracks. |
Part of the town is on the other side of the railroad tracks. |
What's terrifying about Woodward? Other than that it produce Dan Snyder? |
| How does the board make redistricting decisions? Anyone know? |
In that thread, I read the concern as more of the unknown. With the Wootton option, the future was clear as far as boundaries. With WJ, changes could take place. Some people are fearful of changes that could bring unknown results, even if the results are unlikely to be negative. |
What's so scary about being surrounded by Catholics? |
The Catholics aren't in the town as much as they are in the neighborhoods around Holy Redeemer. They are very conservative and cliquey. |
