None will win, but

we all *applaud* your adorable effort.

Move to a different county or..state...You'd be much better off somewhere where racists thrive. Virginia has plenty. Please leave!

Why is Laura Stewart hiding all of the mainstream views she advocated for via twitter? After years of using twitter as a very public platform to express her mainstream stance on things, it seems odd that she would make it private and block anyone from viewing it days before announcing her candidacy for public office. If anything, it would be a great resource for voters looking for her real time, even-keeled impressions of events going on within the county and surely would have been a great defense of those who argue against her ideas as “far left”, “lacking any real substance”, “armchair social justice warrior”, “as do-nothing as the incumbents” or “too political for the BOE”.

If they saw her social media, would they vote for the other non-incumbent in District4? Maybe that's why she has "hidden"? She knows MoCo can't handle right of center candidate in this "non-partisian" primary.

Nonpartisan races. Unless you can devine who the republicans are.

You Evans folks are just desparate trying to stand on all that innuendo. But that jives with the say-nothing-substantive approach that is the hallmark of her two terms in office.

Me too, except I crossed out Evans (failed incumbent) and Mandel (RWNJ), leaving Stewart as my top pick which is what the Apple Ballot said to do anyway.

I was thinking along the same lines. Evans just means more of the same and Mandel is bonkers so that leaves Stewart.
Stewart is also bonkers.

Mandel is more bonkers than Stewart.

Mandel

"dibs on horny teenagers" her tweet her post her words

Exact same line of thinking for me too. And I was looking for any excuse to oust all incumbents, but I was a definite NO on Mandel, and I've never cared for Stewart's SJW posturing/activism and am not looking for that on the school board.

I'm voting for Stewart. The others are either crazy or just done nothing helpful.

+1. Stewart has a long record of advocacy and you can read or view her many public comments to the board on Board Docs. She's far from the caricature some posters here are tying to portray.
If you mean advocacy for insane far-left ideas and policies I agree.

What exactly are the others qualifications?

How does Mandel have any qualifications? What are they? What does she bring to the BOE?

She's seeing them so working with anyone will be a challenge right?

Homeschools her kids so has zero idea what public school curriculum should look like.

And she thinks kids don't read til "4th grade" and "phonics" is the only method of teaching reading in "fourth grade"

How do parents of students feel about their children not reading til 4th grade?

Ignore those posts. It's just Evans trying to paint Stewart as unpalatable in an attempt to preserve her seat so she can keep giving upper MCPS admin unexamined free rein for their own poorly considered policies.

Republicans are so stupid bipartisan race.

This is why we can not allow RW idiots to be voted in.

Their general lack of knowledge is astounding.

It does seem like there is some concerted effort here to spin these crazy fictions by Evans supporters. Anyway, I'm definitely not voting for Evans. I'm not a fan of the state of MCPS and the incumbents need to take responsibility.

District 4
Evans
Stewart
Diaz
Mandel

Mandel and Diaz are moms4liberty RW absurdity. Unqualified for the BOE. Diaz is pushing curriculum that is just beyond awful and no MCPS should want curriculum that bad. Mandel has no idea what curriculum is much less a personality to work with others, which by the way the BOE is a group of people. And she is suing the BOE how will that work? And someone who is funded by outside sources is a no go.

That leaves Evans and Stewart. I am not a fan of either but given the other two dolts either one is better.
