My OBG is in the process of running a bunch of tests to figure out what to do about this issue, he has given me two suggestions to mull over. He wants to run a DNC as a biopsy to make sure I don't have uterine cancer. PAP is normal, hormone tests are normal, no end in sight for menopause. He has stated he can treat me with hormone therapy or a hysterectomy. He is REALLY in favor of the hormones. My PCP is DEAD set against hormones as 2x prior I have had estrogen based breast cancer. She has taken to calling me 2 times a day to make sure I am ok and reading behind the OBG about the tests he is doing and then telling me why she approves or not. Since my PCP helped me threw the last 2x experiences I trust her. My pregnancy brought on the initial case of breast cancer and they wanted me to abort the pregnancy to treat the cancer. I don't know what to do. I think that taking any type of hormones is dangerous. However, I am bleeding terribly and from the pain can barely make it to work. When I walk I am just dropping large clots. What can be done. Sorry, I know this is graphic. I have been trying to figure this out for over a year with these 2 doctors.

Have the D & C. I had the same thing and it was a benign uterine polyp. Your Dr sounds too aggressive.

DON'T take the hormones and find another Dr

I would have the D&C as well. What about uterine ablation? Hysterectomy seems drastic without investigating lesser options.

With a history of estrogen receptor positive or estrogen responsive breast cancer, no way would I take any hormones without checking with an oncologist.

You should get an opinion from a different gyno.

Have you had an ultra sound? It could be uterine fibroid tumors. If they are still small, they are easily removed. If they are large, get the hysterectomy. It will just get worse...
