Who got into Takoma Park magnet out-of-bounds - how do you do it?

It is easier to get into Takoma park from out of b if you are in very strong academically elementary.
I got many friends who moved into CGES hood and they got no problem to get into the elementary GT center and then to Takoma and Blair. Hard to find homes in King F though. It is hard to find a good school that has a high ratio of GTC accepted students. Many kids from CGES still decline even when they get in because they have fantastic IB programs on an elementary and Middle level so they don't care. |
