High school courses in Middle school

If a student does a high school course in middle school (Algebra 1, Geometry honors, language) does that grade appear in high school transcript and is it included in GPA calculation?

In FCPS, yes

IF the kid doesn't do well, it can be re-taken in HS and only the latter grade will count.

If you expunge within the specified time period. I think it might be the first nine weeks of the following year.

Yes it is on transcript but, as PP stated, if you retake it, the grade is replaced. Summer school is a great way to do that!

And keep in mind that low grades on high school math courses taken in middle school can keep your kid out of math honor society in high school.
