You probably haven't watched the Missing on Starz. If so, run to your sofa. Season 2 (recently released, I'm 3 episodes in) is even better than Season 1.
What are some other recommendations for TV series (old or new) that may be unknown to the masses? (so no Wire, Lost, FNL, etc. please). |

On Netflix: Paranoid, The Code, River, Luther, Marcella
I like british crime/cop tv series....
Although The Code is Australian and is not really a police series, but it is AMAZING. |
|
Big Little Lies (current HBO limited series)
For harmless fun weird family with lead as a young female OB: The Offspring (Netflix) My guilty laughs that no one knows I watch: Schitt's Creek (Amazon) |

Love this thread!
The only network TV I watch is The Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise. Otherwise I'm all HBO, Showtime type channels, plus Amazon and Netflix Although some of these are not so obscure, in no particular order: -Schitt's Creek....hilarious, dry humor -Big Little Lies -Red Oaks on Amazon -The Detour....crude but very funny -Imposters....fun, comedic-mystery -Billions -Homeland - faithful watcher from Season 1 |

I don't think anything is unknown to the masses. I like Offspring (no The). Love British cop shows like Happy Valley; Scott & Bailey is one of my favorites.
I love Spy and Wrong Mans on Hulu. Also on Hulu, The Moodys is a good Australian comedy and The Secret Life of Us is a fun drama-dy. Another favorite is Coupling on Amazon. |

Crazyhead on Netflix is good.
Fresh Meat--British comedy and the Misfits British sci-fi. |
