Classes?

What are some great activities (Camps, sports, classes, resources) for children of young elementary school age? I am in the McLean area. TIA!

That's quite a list of things you're interested in. If you're interested in summer camps, most of the ones in or around McLean are full. Registration begins in Jan/Feb.

For other classes, there are a bunch offered through FFX County's Parktakes -- I just got my catalog for the fall in the mail last week. Spring Hill Rec is in McLean (near Tyson's) and Providence isn't too far to go, either.

I haven't found a good gymnastics place near McLean -- I think everyone I know goes to either Gymini in Herndon or JW Tumbles in Arlington....we trek out to Loudoun Gymnastics once a week because their schedule of classes work better for us.

Public elementary schools will have a variety of after-school activities available come September.

MYS sign-up is already going on for the fall soccer season, starting with U5 on up. McLean Little League is probably also starting their registration, too.
