DC 529 accounts -- new plan manager replacing Calvert. Delay contribution until after transition?

Anonymous
Question for people who use the DC 529 accounts for their kids:

I received a mailing that the DC College Savings plan will switch to a new program manager. I was just going to make a substantial contribution to my kids' plans this week. Should I wait until after the transition at the end of this month, or can I just move ahead now?

You can move ahead now. Nothing is changing except, it is to be hoped, the fees will be lower.

I don't think it matters. The fees for this year will be assessed by the new firm.
