| Know of any in DC or Arlington that are open to new members? I joined PACE but am looking for something in addition (please don't turn this into a debate re the merits of PACE). There was one posted here recently related to mindfulness but I'm not finding it when I search. Thanks. |
| The breastfeeding center has one on Tuesdays that's open to anyone |

If you are in North Arlington, join Mothers of North Arlington. They have a new moms group that meets weekly and you can also join/start a playgroup with other moms who have babies the same age.

+1 I think it's also more casual than PACE - $25 for unlimited attendance and you don't have to go every week. |
| Where are you located? Most of the neighborhood based ones sort of work on a rolling basis. |
| Thanks -- I'm in north Arlington so I will check that out. I'm not breastfeeding. |
| The Breastfeeding Center group was nice but almost exclusively focused on conversation about breastfeeding (and I am BFing). Does the hospital where you delivered offer one? I know INOVA Alexandria does and maybe VHC. |
As in, I am breastfeeding but still found it to be more breastfeeding-centric convo than general "new moms" convo, which wasn't what I was looking for. |
If you live in Farlington they have a meet up group. I'm in S. Arlington |
| NP - Does GW have a group? I'm not delivering there, but it's the closest hospital to my house. |
