DH called both the delivery service (in our case, DHL) and - I want to say the FDA, who I think were the actual holdup - several times a day for 2 days in a row and went full-out no-holds-barred on them (he is very excellent at this and I gotta say, I've never been more impressed). They eventually released and delivered it at 7:30 pm at night and the driver told DH that he'd been instructed to make sure it got to us *as fast as possible*, haha. Although there's really no way to know if the calls had anything to do with it being released, they sure did NOT want him calling them again. We'd ordered overseas meds twice before with no issue (the first time was the entire raft of medications, too, Bravelle, Menopur, HSG, everything) so why a box of estrogen pills got flagged no one knows. There wasn't ever any sort of follow-up and later boxes we received from the same address got through just fine, so who knows. Good luck and I hope it gets to you by the time you need it!
OP-----Yes, it is DHL and FDA exactly. My husband is trying to work through this with them right now. I needed a glimmer of hope from someone got through this. Ahh, thanks. My fingers are crossed- my shot is scheduled for Sunday. Thanks for the response and glad it worked out for you! I hope we have same luck. I've used a concierge in the past and never had to worry.
