| 4 retrieved, 1 fertilized; it was not PGS normal. After that cycle I changed clinics, new doc thinks I was over-suppressed with estrogen priming (it works for a lot of people but clearly did not work for me!). Prior cycle I had not done EPP and had 9 retrieved/ 2 PGS normal. |
|
How old were you?
I had 9 retrieved yesterday but worried that won't be enough for PGS normals |
|
At age 41, I had 8 retrieved, 6 fertilized, 3 made to blast, only one normal.
|
| My bad. Meant to say, 3 out of 2 were PGS abnormal. And one normal didn't implant. |
PP with 4 retrieved/1 fert/0 PGS normals here. I was 31, but low AMH - 0.54. |
|
I'm 41.
IVF #1: 17 retrieved, 12 mature, 9 fertilized 9 made it to day 3. 1 to day 5. Abnormal. IVF #2; 14/12/8. 8 made it to day 3. I'll update when I find out more this week. |
| Wow 8/9 dropped off between day 3 and 5? Is that normal? |
| At 41, my first cycle resulted in 10 retrieved, 9 fertilized and 7 made it to day 5/6. 2 fresh embryos transferred without testing gave bfn. The remaining five were frozen, then thawed, PGS tested and all found a normal. I got 3 normals out of 7 embryos over the next 2 cycles. |
| 'A normal' should read abnormal. |
No. they changed my protocol for this round. I'll know in a few days if it worked. |
| At 42 I had 10 eggs retreived, 7 fertilized, 3 made it to blast and one PGS normal, which did not implant. |
Same here, effectively. We did a day 3 transfer but it didn't work and none others made it to day 5 in the dish. What are you doing different this time, if you don't mind me asking? |
This is me, too (NP). I went from 9 fertilized, 9 still at day 3 with 2 transferred, and none of the other 7 made it to day 5. So I would also love to know! |
Similar to us as well. NP. Had 9 out of 10 make it to day 5. Transferred one. All 8 others arrested by day 6 (while waiting to track their growth and see if any were suitable for freezing). |
