Joy is now engaged. They started courting in November and are offically engaged now. I'm starting to think these girls are just trying to find any way to get out of their parents house....

So Jana is the only "older" girl left that can get married. I wonder how she feels knowing she's the oldest and now her 4 younger sisters are all married and engaged and she's what? 28? and still living at home....

Yeah, they are all ready to leave. Since Big Sister is going to stay to protect all the younger kids, the rest of them should get out ASAP. Finding enough guys and girls will be the toughest part, probably.

Yes Jana and her twin John David are the only older ones not married off and living at home. They are 27.

Actually just looked up their ages and Joseph (22) and Josiah (20) would be next I suppose. They are older than Joy who is only 19!

I wouldn't be surprised if one (or two) were gay. Perhaps Jana just isn't interested in men. How sad for her, that she will never be able to pursue anything else. I don't think the men are as encouraged to court women, they are true workhorses on that compound.

The funny thing is that these women are all still probably losing their virginity at "normal" ages - 18, 19, 20.
