Telling potential employer "I really want this to work desperate?

Anonymous
We hit it off. Good thirty minute phone conversation. Asked for my resume and bio. I followed up w text saying I look forward to meeting and hope we work aka fit. Hope I'm not being overly eager. If so it's too late as I sent text. I really do feel good about the situation. Pay has already been discussed.

Your writing is unclear. I would work on improving those skills.

Do you mean a text message (SMS, iMessage, etc.) or do you mean email? Email is fine. Text is not. Leave it at that. You can consider it a thank you note for the phone interview and wait to hear back.

You sent a text to a potential new employer?! WTF?!

This is fine. People text nowadays.

The message is fine but you should not have sent it via text.

I too find your messages difficult to read. Please write in complete sentences when talking with potential employers.

I would also work on your temper. No one wants a hot head, especially one who cannot communicate clearly.

It sounds like you know this person in a non professional setting. Perhaps introduced at a party by a mutual friend? Talked for a bit and then they asked for a resume and this all occured via text and phone? It doesn't sound like it started off as you applying for a job.

Some clarification may help
