Montgomery County Government benefits

I had an interview with the MoCo Government on Monday. I have no idea if I will get the job, but wanted to know more about what benefits are offered (I asked at the interview, and they said HR would be able to answer that later). I would probably stay on my DH's medical insurance, because that is already good.

Can someone tell me what the retirement plan is? Do they match, and if so, how much? Is it a pension?
How many vacation/sick days do you get?
Other perks?

they match and quite handsomely, several different levels of healthcare from a top premium to lower levels.

days off depend on your grade, if you are a grade employee you get the usual 8 hours pay period if you are in fire rescue or police it is a different accrual, if you are M it is PTO

Not sure what is current policy, but it used to be 1:2. They also had some guarantied return plan (which is nice)
Downside - employee contribution was fixed and mandatory (no option to opt out nor max it).
