Who is the most famous person that you ever met - meaning you spoke to them, shook hands, etc., not just a sighting? We'll pick a winner. I'll start.
I've met: 1. Bill Clinton 2. Al Gore 3. Ted Kennedy Who have you met? post of pic for extra points. |
I work in entertainment so I meet a lot of famous people. The first time I met Beyoncé, I couldn't get my jaw off the floor. She was sweet, friendly, and funny, and I was in total awe. Still am, tbh. I was equally as taken by the Dalai Lama and President Obama.
Luckily most everyone I meet is friendly, happy, and kind. Very few of the stars I've met have been terrible (snippy, bad attitude, etc.) |
Lots of politicians including former Presidents but the most famous non-politicians are Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson. Met them at a dinner and had a conversation. Couldn't have been nicer. Also Barbara Streisand, shook hands and said hello. |
Bill Clinton
Chris Noth (Mr. Big on SATC) Kamal Haasan (famous Indian actor, don't know if anyone outside India knows him) |
Did you find her to be stupid? I've heard rumors. |
I met Green Day back in 2003 or so. They were really nice. |
I've met many famous people. Tom Hanks was the easiest to be around.
Bono was the most famous, and I say that because all other celebrities treat him as above them. It's a different level of fame. |
I went to school with Giuliana Depandi. Her married name is escaping me right now. Anyway I feel really badly for her because its clear she is very very ill. Sometimes her disease will come up on the Entertainment forum and a few people will say "I knew her growing up she's always been small" and I want to say "umm she was skinny she wasn't skeletal." |
Rancic |
Interned for then senator Obama in 2007. |
I grew up (80s) in the neighborhood in Pittsburgh where Mr. Rogers lived. He was just as nice as on TV. |
I met Barbara Bush, Michelle Obama ( she was the nicest!) and Laura Bush ( we passed each other and said hi but, did not shake hands, though) |
Melissa Gilbert, years ago. |
