I would love to know more about your schools. I plan to move to West Laurel during the summer. I have heard great things about Bond Mill and have heard Vansville is good too however I would like specifics.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. |

Bond Mill has the advantage of smaller size classroom and proactive parents. Vansville is good despite having a large enrollment. It amazes me how the large enrollment is handled and things run smoothly.
If I had to pick myself, I would go to Bond Mill, because the smaller the better. |

With all the development going on, I think Bond Mill is about to get bigger. I'm not sure where they're going to put the students though.
This is a total guess but I think the reason for Vansville good reputation and test scores is the amount of African/Caribbean students with their respective tiger moms. If you're truly going to move to West Laurel, then you will be assigned to Bond Mill. The principal is awesome and the teachers so far have been pretty good. |
Well I guess it ends the Tiger mom myth because the scores are quite average and rates a "5" on great schools.com while Bond Mill is a "8" with a heavy Black American population |

Bond Mill feeds into Laurel HS. I assume Vansville does too although I dont know where it is.
Bond Mill may be great but LHS is not. |
If you don't want LHS you can go magnet or parochial for high school. |
