I'm guessing Liberty Mountain is out for the year?

We usually take the kids to Liberty annually. The time just got away from us this year and now I'm afraid its just muddy mush.

We should probably just skip this year right? The kids will be disappointed...

Went to roundtop last weekend and it was ok plenty of skier.

Web cams don't look good. We were going this weekend but decided to do something else instead.

Maybe it will get cold again before mid-March

This season looks horrible. Even Snowshoe in WV looks barren on the webcams. They only have a 36" base!

I just got back from Hokkaido so I can't bear to deal with it. We may go to Utah for a quick weekend in March (easy direct flights between BWI and SLC)

was just at Seven Springs this weekend - only one decent day of skiing (Saturday) with spring like conditions. Every run was melting so fast and by Monday when we left, the snow had receded so considerably that certain parts of the mountain were to be shut down this week or next week at the latest.

If you are going to go, I would do it this weekend. I doubt they will be open much past this weekend. Next weekend will be pushing it.
It has been a terrible season

Thunderstorms this Saturday. Sunday might be better.

DH was planning to take the kids on Sunday. Forecast shows 51 as the high. Do you think they will make fresh snow for Sunday?

Did you look at the webcam> They cant possibly make enough snow to make skiing doable by Sunday with a high tomorrow in the 70s

That's really sad. Looks like there is some snow on the backside, but another couple days of 70s will take care of that.

We are heading up to Tremblant and even there it's been raining and warm. 50's! Thunderstorms on Saturday.

I went 3 weeks ago and there were people playing golf 50 yards from the lift line!

Look at the webcam. It looks pretty bad. Hopefully next winter's better. It must be tough for them financially after this winter.

They can't make snow unless it's below freezing. So we're all SOL!
