Has anyone used Cavalier Telephone?

I get a little sick every time I think of dealing with Verizon. RCN won't connect us because we are too far from the pole. Has anyone any experience with Cavalier Telephone? Or any other suggestions for telephone/internet access?

We have Cavalier phone and had it when we lived in PA as well (for about 5 years total). No problems ever. Have not used the internet, but are considering it!

We used it for a while and were very happy with it. We only stopped because we moved out of the area. When we returned, we got Verizon but I don't think it's any better.

12:39 poster here: We also have used Comcast Digital Voice telephone service and it is horrendous. would not recommend it at all.

Probably because they advertise the no credit check type of service. It's what a lot of people choose when they can't get service with anyone else. At least that's why I had to.
