| Running the rock and roll half marathon on mar 11. Was on a decent training regimen but two weeks ago fell off the wagon. So anyway I ran 6 miles on Friday at about 9.5 min/mi pace. I'm sore but it wasn't terrible. I have only two weeks left to train. What kind of schedule would you run? (Max I've ever run was 10 miles last fall- in prep for that race I did 8 miles twice.) | You can still run the race. Just be realistic with your time. I would slow my pace to a 10:30 pace and see if you can get a ten mile in this weekend . Then taper. You can do this. |
Agreed, but with the caveat that the assumption is you're in relatively good physical shape otherwise (not super obese, no other health conditions, etc.). |
