Waiting for sale in Gap

you answer is unhelpful, this is the fashion and beauty forum if fashion is not something u find interesting then you should not answer.

Lanvin is a big hit this season.

You should head over to Nordstrom's. They are having their fall preview sale right now and have LOTS of super cute things for a good price.

I second the recommendation to hit the Nordstrom anniversary sale - great prices on new items for fall. It can be a bit of a madhouse, but it's worth it. I got two jackets and a pair of shoes - things that I'm hoping will help make other things I already have look a bit more up to date.

Why was the answer unhelpful? The OP asked what people are buying for fall. PP said they were planning on buying from sales at the Gap. That answered the question.

untwist your panties.

Agree. Even if Gap isn't that PP's thing, why the snarky response?

PP, have you ever been on DCUM before? (kidding) Not one thread can go by without a bitchy post. Typical.

OP, not sure what is "in" for fall. But, I do love wearing my boots!! Sort of looking forward to that already this year. Not sure why.

I want to get a black blazer with the 80's style shoulders (not shoulder pads, but a protruding shoulder, can't think of what it is called). Balenciaga makes them but I need a knock off. Ripped jeans are in too, I ha a great pair but then the seat ripped. I'd like to replace those.

In Style magazine said dark opaque tights with chunky open toed shoes will be in this fall. The pics they had looked great. Not sure if my legs can pull it off though. We'll see.

How are the skirt lengths and shapes? I've been underwater.

I am loving the whole menswear influence. I got one of those baggy blazer this spring (from club monaco: not very expensive) and have worn it non-stop. I would love to get that type of blazer in a more wintry type fabric as it will go with jeans and my work clothes. I will also get a white shirt (again baggier and roomier-definitely more figure flattering).

Balenciaga poster again. Agree with PPs that menswear-influence is huge, see all the "boyfriend" cuts ... just doesn't look good on me. Also - dressy shorter shorts are in for evening but I think that's an under 35 look so I'll pass.

Boyfriend cuts? Ugh. That would not work for me.

12:54 here, I agree that the boyfriend cuts may not be universally flattering. They work for me because they cover up my top half which is the part I am not as happy with. I also wear them with skinny pants or jeans to balance out the volume.

For me it also gives me some variety as I normally wear a lot of dresses and feminine prints.
