She didn't graduate from NYU -- I'm sure of that in my bones, and I defy anyone in the entire universe to show any evidence she did. It doesn't exist. That's ok, I guess. Lots of people don't graduate and are embarrassed to admit it. My nanny for instance, lied about a BA for years....But she wasn't "not clear" about being from Spain. She lied. A video has two women asking her when she came to NY and she says she was 19 and they say from where and she says "My family live in Mallorca" and that's saying she came from Spain. She wanted them to think that. SO it wasn't that she wasn't clear. It's that she dissembled, and it was intentional, and the super interesting question (for me) is when Alex knew it was a lie. I also would love to know how they thought they could get away with it. Surely someone she was in Boston with would have come forward one day!!!

Agree - she didn't graduate from NYU, she has probably never been to Spain AND

she is in complete denial that she did what she did, in spite of there being thousands of witnesses.

I suspect the details of the actual amount of time spent in Spain per her passport are something like 2 weeks when she was age ten on a family vacation and 2 weeks when her parents bought a house there when she was in her twenties. If that were public, her two cultures thing can't possibly be true, thus she keeps everything in the grey area...

My theory is Alec knew-he either figured it out at before or when he met the parents or she told him. I suspect HE wanted her to keep up the ruse. He found it sexy. He probably thinks the public is too stupid to figure it out...it did take what 10 years? I think that is why he is soooooo protective of her. If he were duped too, he would have to be stupid and also he'd be livid. I think if anything she is pissed at him for pushing her to continue.

I believe he found it sexy (I even think she's "sexier" when I think she's from Spain than when I think she's from Boston and doing all these crazy "yoga" moves) -- but he's not stupid. How would people who went to school with her not say anything? Friends she grew up with....I heard him on one recent Insta video saying that she absorbed things, and said to her to talk about "who raised you." I imagine she told him that she had Spanish nannies and her parents were too busy and unloving and therefore she spoke as she did, because the person who loved her and spent time with her spoke this way.

Agree, no evidence. I grew up in a middle eastern country. I have friends I still keep in contact with, report cards from the American school I attended and lots of pictures from my time there with family and friends. She has offered none of these from her time in Spain.

Her grift and her non apology/ denial is what makes people keep tabs lmao. Imagine if rachel dolezal kept digging her heels in the way hilary is.
