Gate Checking Bob Stroller?

I am travelling across the country with my 2 kids (3 and 1) and want to bring my Bob Stroller--both for toddler management in the airports and to use at my destination.

Has anyone had a problem gate checking a single Bob? Anyone successfully done it?

I successfully gated checked my BOB at BWI with Southwest. It was not as cumbersome as I thought it might be. I proceeded as I have in the past with my umbrella stroller. I did lock the wheel in place with the brake strap at the gate. I posted about this before I did it and some of the responses were helpful. It was in April. might be worth looking for the thread.

I have gate checked my Bob Duallie. I did lock the front wheel as PP suggested, but I didn't have any problem doing gate checking it.

No problems gate checking my Bob at multiple airports. Just make sure you allow enough time to get through security. It doesn't fit into most of the scanners so you have to get it scanned by hand. It's no biggie but can take a few minutes extra.
