Long Weekend Trip on Short Notice

We are trying to plan a quick getaway this weekend - leaving Friday morning and returning on Monday night for two adults and two kids (9 and 6).

Any suggestions for someplace that is 2-3 hours away. Already been to Hershey Park, Williamsburg, Baltimore and Annapolis.

Are you looking for certain activities for the kids since they are older? We are planning a trip to Homestead for the first time and they have a Kids Club according to their web site. I believe it's 3 1/2 to 4 hours so it may be a bit farther than your desired commute.

You are going to have a great time at the Homestead. We went there in the winter and FYI they have this small slope for beginners and tubing and it was a lot of fun! I also see they are running some great deals. Enjoy!

Seven Springs Resort in PA. It's more like 3 1/2 hours away, but there's lots to do. Check out their website.

I was recommended Massanutten Resort in the
Shenandoah Valley. We haven't gone yet but it looks interesting from the website with lots of activities.
