St. Patricks

I am very interested opinions about this school. We went on the tour and liked the teachers, etc. But were not very impressed with the "library". In most of the other schools (at least the top 3) the books were at child level. At St. Patrick's, they were on high shelves or behind closet doors.

Thoughts about academics? Teachers? School overall?

If so, I'm going to lurk....we are intersted in that school as well, although DD is only 3, we are starting to gather information...

Confused - the library at St Patrick's is gorgeous. Sunny, bright, full of books down at child levels. Are we talking about St Pats in DC?

Yes, the one in DC. Did I see the wrong room? The one we viewed on the tour was a white room where there were no shelves at child-height. Is there another library?

We applied for nursery at St. Pat's and I, too, LOVED the library (actually, both libraries!)

So there is another library I missed? because on the tour we stood in one for 10 minutes and that is the only one I saw. I believe it was located across from a pre-k room.

Yes, that was just the nursery library. The other one is big and airy- quite lovely.

Ohhh, thank you. we must have missed that during our tour.

So, does anyone have a child currently attending that can share thoughts on academics?
