Home Away From Home CDC in NW DC

Anyone have any experience with this daycare at 4th and R St NW? I bike past it everyday on my way to work and it looks super cute and is NAEYC-accredited but I can't find anything about it online in terms of reviews/etc.

We have our kid there.
Compared to other places we've looked at it is cheaper but the facilities are a little run down, and it is almost impossible to get someone on the phone. Other than that we like it. We especially like it because of the price and the fact it is a short stroller ride from our house. It was $25 cheaper a week than the daycare at 7th and S St NW, across from the Shaw metro, which was my 1st choice. That daycare had more impressive facilities. They also had space that I didn't have to wait for, so that and saving $100 a month helped us decide on going there.
It has a primarily working class African American clientele, so if you are comfortable with that you should be good.

That other daycare at 7th and S closed shop due to Covid. So it no longer matters.

Home Away however, survived and is currently open.
