Best resources for attorney job search?

Anonymous
Any suggestions on what resources to use (including websites, recruiters, etc) when looking for an attorney position? I am not looking for federal government, but open to law firm or inhouse. I have used a few generic job search sites and signed up for more specific sites such as goingouse and indeed.

I have used linkedin, glassdoor, the brad traverse list, monster.com, careerbuilder.com, recruiters, bar association newsletters, etc.

I'm a college career director OP. The best resource is Martindale Hubble. You need to create your own opportunities. That means contacting your law school alumni career person and asking for connections and/or going on LinkedIn. Click on Network and then click on alumni. Then, start reaching out to people for informational interviews. Good luck.

You can also use Martindale Hubble online to find names of lawyers. You should have learned these research techniques in law school. Tsk, tsk. Where did you go? You should sue them.

I agree with the pp at 14:58. The best resource is your network.
