Gift for friend who's been TTC and just got a + test

Anonymous
I have a close friend who has been TTC for over a year and she finally received a + pregnancy test and had an ultrasound. She's dealing with the obvious anxieties of being in the first trimester. I want to send her a little something to congratulate her on getting pregnant... more so just something to make her feel special. Any ideas?!? Our experiences in family planning have been vastly different and I know it's been hard on her.

fetal doppler? she can use it to listen to the heartbeat... though, they are a bit controversial.
gift card to a 4D ultrasound imaging center
prenatal yoga classes
cute maternity dress
bellybuds
that apron that blocks wireless radiation

I wouldn't get her anything baby-related, even with the positive test and ultrasound.

I would get her a book about pregnancy, and maybe some nice foot cream/hand cream for pampering herself.

Something for her that she would enjoy and that will help her RELAX for the next few weeks. Herbal tea and a great travel mug?

+1000 With my first pregnancy, I received an adorable baby outfit the same day I confirmed a missed miscarriage. It was a sweet, thoughtful gift, but man! did that add insult to huge injury.

Write a personal note to her to tell her you'll be thinking of her.

I would not get a fetal doppler. They are not easy to use, particularly early in pregnancy. I have one, and honestly, it provided more anxiety than comfort early on when it was hard to locate the heartbeat.

Jamba Juice gift card. It was the only way I could eat veggies the first trimester.

i had trouble TTC with a miscarriage and ectopic and i think if shes your close friend its ok to give something baby related like a cute gender neutral outfit, but if your not sure you can also go with a gift card to a yoga studio that offers prenatal yoga and regular yoga, or a nice box of cupcakes is always good!

+ 100000. Don't get any baby related gifts yet just to be safe. A gift card for a relaxation massage would be a very thoughtful gift.

I just had my positive pregnancy test after 3 years of struggle to conceive after a stillbirth and although I'm super excited, I'm worried, and I'm not even sharing the news with friends yet till i get through the first trimester.
