Families That Have Been Admitted to Area Independent Schools Please Share

If your child/children have been admitted to area independent schools please share the following information. . .
1. What school was your child admitted to?
2. Did your child fall into a special category (sibling, legacy, diversity, etc)?
3. Test scores - average, high average, superior?
4. Was your DC admitted on the first go around?
5. Why do you think your DC was admitted?

Just trying to get some insight on the type of children accepted at these schools. It all seems very random.

Great post. Hope people respond!

I'd love to know too, but my guess is that parents whose kids are in the schools being discussed here are not monitoring this forum. They've moved on.

Good point but hopefully they will respond.

Why do you say that? Isn;t this website a forum for parents in DC area? Why would parents no longer visit this forum after their child gets accepted to a private school? This confirms the paranoia that everyone who wants these schools has. You think that once someone gets accepted to one of the exclusive schools they are somehow above the rest of us? Maybe thats the problem.
