Does anyone know what happen in the boys bath this past Friday? Was there an actual fire started by the student. The school mentioned smoke and and damage and that the boy was identified. My kid smell the smoke way down the hall.

Yes I believe there was an actual fire. They said the bathroom was closed for repair. It made pick up on Friday a disaster. Buses were 35 min late leaving and therefore late to pick up elementary kids.

Thanks. The original message from Frost on Friday seemed to down play the incident. Todays message did not admit a "fire". So likely an incident that wont happen again.

It is difficult to assess what really went on. The administration has a long history of covering up problems there. Remember his response to the bomb threat 6 or 7 years ago.
