Spring Break vacation- HELP!!

Hello. I've been trying desperately to plan a family vacation for this spring break, and having zero luck. Ideally would love to go to Club Med in Punta Cana. Does anyone know if there's some sort of service with which you can find people that need to cancel or sell vacation plans that they've made? I'm trying to find any possible way of getting to this resort. If it proves to be absolutely impossible, I'm open to other options, and would love recommendations. Has anyone been to LegoLand in California? Any good all-inclusive resorts in the San Diego area? Looking for kids clubs and fun activities for my 6 and 10-year-old boys, with a mix of relaxation by beautiful pools and a beach as well. I realize I'm asking for a lot! But we haven't had a vacation in so long, and my kids have never been on an airplane, so I'm set on taking this trip one way or another. It was somewhat of a "last-minute" decision, I just didn't realize it was so last minute until I started trying to book it!
I appreciate any and all suggestions and insight.
Thanks!

If you need a beach, the water will be cold during spring break in San Diego, unfortunately.

Your 10yo may be too old for LEGOLAND. We went there recently with 5yo and 7yo.

I would recommend Atlantis in the Bahamas.

There are tons of AI in Dominican Republic. Look at Expedia or similar there are better options

Why don't you head to southern CA -- you can do some stuff in SanDiego, like Legoland (which is north of the city), then head to Universal Harry Potter near LA?

Do you think I can find another AI in the DR at a reasonable price during spring break? Any suggestions for some good ones? I just keep hearing about Club Med, but I'm certainly open to other family-friendly resorts..... Would also do Mexico...

Look at Sunscape Resorts. Two in DR.

There is a new Nickelodeon resort that just opened in DR.

Try Dreams Punta Cana or La Romana in DR

Look for air and hotel packages through airlines or vendors like Apple or cheap Caribbean.

Has anyone been to Club Med Sandpiper in Florida? Would 6 and 10 year olds enjoy that? I know it's not on a beach, but they can still play in the lake, correct?

Yes, it is great for kids - they have a trapeze school and lots of activities in the kids club. the family pool is huge but they cant play in the lake. the food is great for an AI too. We loved our time there. A bit of a drive from the airport but its nice.

The kids will play in the water (river) but the adults may opt out. We did get in when sailing and windsurfing though. It's fine. If you have your own rental car you can drive to Jensen Beach for the day or half a day for an ocean fix. We went when my kids were 5 and 8 and it was amazing--kids stayed in kids clubs all day and begged to go back at night. We took golf lessons, trapeze, played tennis and lounged by the pool.
