Hogan and travel ban

Why has Governor Hogan been so quiet on the travel ban? I know they were taking a tally yesterday, so I would've thought he'd make a statement by now.

He probably wants to kiss up to National GOP but he can't risk pissing off blue MD. He is out of there in 2 years.

Call his office and let him know where you think he should stand. He's been getting bombarded with calls and there is a web based form you can fill out as well.

I think Kyle Lierman is trying to organize a rally at the Governors Mansion as well.

Trump is going to kill Hogan's reelection chances, which were looking pretty good.

+1. The Virginia attorney general's office already filed suit. Hogan shouldn't just sit there in silence.

+1. Filling out the form is an easy way to let him know how we feel!

Just called his office. They seemed very wishy washy and blase' about the issue. Very disappointing for a governor of a strongly Democratic state.

The popular first-term Republican did not heed calls from Democrats to publicly address the impact of the nascent Trump administration on Maryland, including controversial new travel restrictions for noncitizens and refugees and a proposed repeal of the federal Affordable Care Act.

I just called his office too. The person who answered said there was no way for the Governor to influence an executive order. I pointed out that Virginia's attorney general had filed suit against the executive order and the person who answered said it was premature for him to comment and that he was "learning about the issue." Remember this when it comes time to vote.
