2 yr old preschool?

| Hi- Im moving to either Rockville or Potomac in September. My little one turns 2 in June. Are there preschool programs for 2 yr olds or do they have to be 2.5 or 3? Where Im moving from preschool doesnt start until 2.5-3. Thanks! |

| Google is your friend. Put in your new home address. Click on "nearby" then type "preschool." Look for preschool closest to you, and start calling or surf their websites. |

| If your kid is 2 by Sept 1 which he or she is, you can start preschool. |

| In the District they usually have to be 2.5 by September (I have not researched any programs outside the city). Some schools have a mid-year 2's class that starts in January, so your DC would be able to start next January if they don't make the cut off for this fall. |
