She's headed to Kindergarten. Is it weird/pointless to send a follow up email to the admissions office to reiterate her interest in the school and thank them? This is our first child so we're not really sure how things work. I don't want to think of it as an interview to get a job, but I almost feel that way sometimes! Any advice from experienced parents is helpful! TIA!
Not weird/pointless at all. While my DD did not express her enthusiasm in the same way, I could see in her eyes she and mannerisms she was in love with the school. It was such a stark contrast to every other play date she had been on. I sent a handwritten thank you card to the Director of Admissions and included one sentence saying if DD was admitted we would definitely be enrolling. An email is probably just as good, though sometimes I feel like they get soooo many emails that those may leave less of an impression that something with a little bit of a more personal touch.
