Tell me more about this “ceremony” What were the prepared remarks? Were musicians present? Wreaths laid? How were people invited and who invited them? Because on Trump’s Tik tok account it doesn’t appear to be anything like an official ( or unofficial) “ceremony” It appears to be a campaign stunt. That’s what it looks like. It doesn’t appear solemn or even particularly organized. And now the families members what to rewrite what they did. It’s too late, because Trump splashed it all over the internet. Grief can make you behave in unexpected ways, but I suspect some of these families were all in on the cult before their tragic loss. They have my sympathy and my understanding, but I’m not suspending critical thinking for them. |
It was his Chief of Staff, comrade. One of dozens from his former administration who won’t endorse him this time. |
It’s weird, isn’t it? The GOP’s whole acceptance of Trump violating federal law and using the war dead as props hinges on them not grasping that, so they will not, hence the having to patiently explain it to them repeatedly. They get it. They just don’t care. Just like they understand Trump staged a coup; they just don’t care. Pack of frickin weirdos who bay and pant how much they love America and then undermine it at every turn. |
