HGH protocol help!

Anonymous
I'm going rogue and adding HGH to my next stim protocol since my doctor (NY) is unable to legally prescribe it. I know many here have seen success or improvement with the addition of HGH. I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to share their protocol as it relates to HGH. I'll be doing an E2 priming antagonist protocol, starting in a couple weeks or earlier. I know some people start the HGH during priming... I just don't know much beyond that. This will be my 8th stim/retrieval cycle, and I've never added this in - I am hoping I see an improvement as I have a lot of trouble getting my embryos to blast. Thank you in advance. And I know this may not be the wisest route to take but I am getting kind of desperate after so many cycles.

Wouldn't it be worth shopping around for a doctor willing to try it?

Pretty sure REs in VA are also unable to prescribe it. At least that is what I was told at SG.

From where will you obtain it if nobody will prescribe it? I'll be following your story, as I have the same problem with getting embryos to blast.

Neomeds was recommended to me, but I'm not sure what brand sod be comparable to Omnitrope/Saizan. I'm not sure this is hoping to pan out in time for my cycle. To the PP who asked why I don't shop around, there are a lot of reasons why I'm sticking with my current clinic. I'm not sure it would be worth switching for just this, and I'm also not sure who prescribes this locally. I've already been through SG.

OP here - typo above - not sure what brand WOULD be comparable.

OP - two suggestions - one look on babycenter forums, lots of people used it (search by key words Omnitrope, HGH, Saizen). Also, search on google IVF with HGH, but look for image results - some patients from CCRM posted shots of their meds schedule (I think it's called CCRM protocol #5 or #6). I did it only during the stims, 1.8 each day until retrieval - omnitrope (using the pen with cartridge subq delivery).

Does CCRM work with HGH? If so, why can they but not others? My RE told me it was illegal.

It differs state by state.

Fwiw, i was prescribed it, and had the prescription filled in va. I don't remember the protocol, but I didn't see any difference in egg maturity with it, which was what we were attempting to improve.

I was on the EPP antagonist protocol and took Omnitrope beginning day 1 of the stim cycle. The dosage was half a vial every day- vial was 5.8 mg and I mixed it with 1cc of diluent. I stimmed for 11 days. I did a lot of research on HGH and was determined to try it, even though my doctor and his colleagues weren't really on board. In the end, can I say that it worked? Who knows if that was what did the trick, but I got my one and only BFP after the cycle with it and have an almost year old child now.

Did your doctor prescribe it? Congrats!

OP, curious how the Saizen worked out for you? My previous cycle was MUCH better than my others, and the only changes I made were Acai berries and Saizen.
