Mundo Verde preK-4

Does this school open up another classroom for its prek-4, or does it serve the same number of students from prek3 to prek4? Thanks.

More students are admitted for PK4, because each mixed PK class has more PK4 than PK3 students. It's something like 7 PK3 kids and 14 PK4 kids per class.

This says they think they will have around 20 PK4 slots. Maybe 4-5 will be taken by siblings, either kids who didn't enroll in PK3 but will for PK4 (have known a couple of people who did that), or younger siblings of kids who get in to K, 1st, or 2nd.

35 K seats! That's a lot!

There are twice as many pre-4 students as pre-3 students. There are three times as many k students as pre-3. Therefore, there are the same number of openings in each of those years, but it is exponentially easier to get in during the later years, as almost certainly all pre-3 slots will be taken by children with preferences.
