| Does this school open up another classroom for its prek-4, or does it serve the same number of students from prek3 to prek4? Thanks. |
More students are admitted for PK4, because each mixed PK class has more PK4 than PK3 students. It's something like 7 PK3 kids and 14 PK4 kids per class. This says they think they will have around 20 PK4 slots. Maybe 4-5 will be taken by siblings, either kids who didn't enroll in PK3 but will for PK4 (have known a couple of people who did that), or younger siblings of kids who get in to K, 1st, or 2nd. http://www.mundoverdepcs.org/admissions/ |
| 35 K seats! That's a lot! |
| There are twice as many pre-4 students as pre-3 students. There are three times as many k students as pre-3. Therefore, there are the same number of openings in each of those years, but it is exponentially easier to get in during the later years, as almost certainly all pre-3 slots will be taken by children with preferences. |
