Experience at Thurgood Marshall Child Development Center?

I'm about to join the wait list at Thurgood Marshall Child Development Center, but I wanted to make sure it's a high quality experience before I pay the $60 application fee. Could anyone provide me with some feedback on them?

This was quite a few years ago, but my coworker had kids there and LOVED it.

We've been there for years and always feel lucky to be able to drop our kids off there. All the teachers take good care of the kids; most of them, especially in the older classes, amaze me in their ability to engage the kids.

One small downside is that the playground that's attached to the center has been indefinitely closed off because of structural building issues (out of control of the the center). The building has provided a new playground on the other side of the building, so the kids have to walk a few hundred feet to get to it.

But really you'll get the best feel for it by visiting.
