| Babymoon (I kind of hate that term) or any sort of vacation focused on your enjoyment vs visiting family / entertaining kids etc. - where are you headed? I'm struggling with so many warm weather places out. I like fairly active places, I would not do well sitting by a fire reading for a week. |
| I would go to the Florida Keys. |
| Please. Not that word. |
| I'm going to the Florida Gulf Coast. |
| Hawaii in February! |
| We went to Barcelona and Madrid in february. It was great. |
So don't use it. The term for the type of trip you want is "vacation." |
| California. You can do the pacific hwy and do some hiking in nearby parks. |
| What on earth is a babymoon? The last vacation you take while pregnant or the first after the baby arrives? Neither sounds like the best time for a trip. |
Exactly. With both my kids, I took a lavish vacation the month before we started TTC. |
Why not? We have fond memories of our last trip before kids (south of Spain). I loved being a pregnant tourist and I felt great. We figured (correctly) it would be a few years before the baby was old enough to be left alone with grandparents for a week. |
| We went to St. John for a week in early March. It was pure bliss. We went to a different beach each day, did a lot of swimming (and I felt wonderful getting the exercise) and snorkeling. |
| Not. DH seriously pissing me off. So, nothing. I prefer not to. |
| We took a trip to southern Spain when I was 23 weeks pregnant. It was awesome. |

Nope, just cancelled our babymoon to Orange County (we booked flights and hotel).
Went to the Alps over the winter and the flight was difficult. Compression socks and consuming tons of water didn't help much. I was surprised how awful I felt in the air, considering I didn't have any sickness to date. |
