5 nights - what resort? Love beaches

Ideas for a vaca in summer for me & husband
I am thinking resort but within 3-5 hr flight.

So far my favorites have been Kerala kumarakom, atlantis bahamas, st john westin, key west hyatt, bali but not really meeting flight requirements

Not a fan of Aruba, Florida in summer, myrtle beach

Consider mexico but havent been in 20+ yrs

Considering Greece but seems far for just 5 days. Atlantis is so busy kind of thinking quieter
We drink but not party ppl so dont want party couples things. We do love good food. Asian fusion is our fav

We own Disney dvc. Maybe maui but seems far

Maybe bvi?. Undecided. If you have ideas id love to hear

I would do Mexico and stay in playa del carmen. You can get a direct flight from IAD to Cancun in under 5 hours. Lots of resort options.

This will be a 16-20 hours flight. Lovely place though. Watamu in the North Coast and Diani in the South Coast are great as well. We love Kenya and can't wait to be back in the summer.

Check out the fairmont Mayakoba or one of the other resorts in Mayakoba, Mexico.

3-5 hrs limits your choices. Did you mean a direct 3-5 hr flight or say, a 3 hr flight and then another 1 hr flight?

Bermuda, maybe Bahamas (but the best beaches/resorts are on the out islands, and that's not a 3-5 hr travel). BVI beaches are amazing but you have to connect thru San Juan.

Op -Yea. I know. Im so excited to go on a trip w husband Only but we only have the kids all at sleep away camp for 5 nights.
Im terrible w jet lag so best to keep it relatively close.

I was thinking @ bermuda

I see cuba and puerto rico trips advertised more.
Im reluctant to do all inclusive. Food is usually 2nd rate

Id love to get more ideas. I will check. I might have air w points or some hotels but haven't kept track very well unfortunately

We went to the Omni Hilton Head last summer and were pleasantly surprised. Great location, beaches were great, poolside bar, food was great. They have a separate adults only pool. You can golf, rent bikes etc.
