Bathrobe for teen girl?

Anonymous
I asked my 13.5 yr old last night if she'd like a bathrobe, and she texted back "Yes actually." She lives with her mom and mom's boyfriend. DD's mom and I are both in small 1 bedroom apartments so I think maybe she'd like a bathrobe for after her showers, going into her bedroom, or hanging around in pjs, etc.

What kind of bathrobe should I steer her towards? What type do most teen girls have? I sent DD a link of a terry one with different colored skulls on it but she didn't like that, though didn't seem to know what she wanted.

Check out Aerie (American Eagle's loungewear brand). The stuff is more understated than skulls, etc. but appeals to teenagers.

That's where I took her for bras. But they only sell one bathrobe and only online, not in the store. Old Navy has none, Gap has minimal options.

I was going to mention the Gap one - my tweens have it and love it.

What about looking at a department store? Nordstrom Rack, Victoria's Secret, Garnett Hill or Kohl's? Granted, those bathrobes would be women's but she may find one she likes.

Looks like Nordstrom Rack has a lot of options in my price range - I'll take her there after work tonight. Thanks for the idea!

Ugg ( the boot brand) makes a great soft robe

I would be more concerned with my 13.3yo DD living in a small one bedroom with mom's boyfriend.

Target & Walmart both have really cute options.

Eh. I've met him. I don't like him as a friend, I wouldn't hire him or want him as a neighbor, but I'm not worried he'll violate DD's privacy.

I am a bathrobe person. My absolute favorite I got from the red door salon. It's Terry cloth on the inside and a very soft cloth on the outside. It's also very lightweight.

PJ Salvage has soft ones

this is the kind of beta mentality that sows the seeds of cuckdom.

no way bro this is NOT ok. PP is right. 13 year old girl should NOT be sharing a one! bedroom apt with a man not related by blood to her.

I'd have a little talk with your daughter and swear her to secrecy about any "weird" activity that goes on. Trust me 13 year olds know what you are talking about.

I have a delicious microfiber one from Victoria's Secret of all places. It is very demure and a nice shade of gray.
