I didn't want to hijack the other thread, but this has come up recently. I'm not the PP in the other thread about Newton.
Our school situation is changing next year so we either need to send DS to public school or one of the main SN private schools. Our educational consultant recommended Newton and it is (barely) within our financial ability but it's far away. How do people manage this? Especially with the 8:30-3:15 schedule and working FT. At what point are the trade offs just not worth it? |

| When I toured recently, the director informed me that there is a bus that picks up from the metro. So, I guess we would ride with our child there, get him on the bus, and then have our nanny pick him up on the after school bus. We live in Old Town, Alx., so the bus stop would be the Falls Church metro. |
