What would you wear to this wedding reception?

Anonymous
The reception is actually a month after the wedding. It is in the "countryside" east of Pittsburgh at 12:30 in the afternoon at a berry farm -- http://www.sandhillberries.com/ Apparently it is a picnic. Yes, I have to go. At this point I have no clue what to wear. Thanks.

A sundress or other summery dress.

Agree with PP. Also flat sandals that are a bit dressy (no flip flops) but not high or you'll sink into the dirt.

Yes, a sundress, and agree with PP's recommendation of shoes.

A sundress, a good pretty hat, sunscreen and some nice sandals WITHOUT a heel. Oh, and def. wear your hair UP! You will HOT!

Yeah, sundress. Flat sandals . . . light and airy.

Love the sundress option. Another choice: a long, flowing dress with either flat sandals or those tennis shoes type flats or keds. If you're sitting on the ground, it's easier to in a long dress. Do not forget bug spray!

I disagree with the PP. DO NOT wear Keds or "tennis shoe type flats".

Definitely sandals.

Casual summer dress (long or short) and sandals, either flat or a wedge, just nothing too narrow or with a separate heel. I think a wedge heel would work fine.

I think you could also do dressy capris and a summery blouse, maybe in a bright color w/ a ruffle front, etc. Capris might be more comfy if you have to sit on the ground, but may also be hotter than a sundress. (I would hope they would provide tables and chairs!)

I would wear wedges. You won't sink in the grass, but you still have some height.
