Non-stop flights somewhere warm for inauguration weekend?

Any ideas? Was going to go to Disney but that looks like $5k for 4 nights and 3 days in the park. That seems like a lot given that we're not really Disney people, so thinking about other options. Family of 5.

Why is it so expensive? We did this trip on MLK day (4 nights, 3 days) and it was $2700 including flights.

Just checked on Costco.com and you can do this trip for less than 5k that weekend.

If you're just going for the weekend, Ft. Lauderdale is a quick two hour trip. We like the Hilton beach resort there. It's a 15 minute ride from the airport. They have suites and a nice pool.

For the person who went to Disney on MLK weekend for 2700, how did you do that? Book through an agent? Which hotel did you use? Thanks!

Flights to Orlando around that time (I'm about to book for a few days after) are dirt cheap...I'm talking $100ish direct!

Who's offering this? We've been looking and haven't found anything that cheap. Would love to find fares like this!
