| Mittelschmerz. It's normal but it tends to get worse as you get older. It shouldn't be severe pain, though. |

| Yes, I had it before kids. I would get cramps for a few hours and then bleed a tiny bit with ovulation. I believe it's called middleschmirtz or something like that. |

Yes, typically mittelschmerz lasts a few days as the follicle matures on the surface of the ovary. Then the pain abruptly stops after you ovulate. |
