I am searching for a book aligned with what I have been thinking about regarding living a life of excess (which I know I do). Too much money spent, too much debt, too much eating and consumption. I have tried to be more cognizant of that and, along with redoing my budget, reexamining my expectations to live a simpler and more balanced life.
I am searching for books that would be relevant to this theme. One I have found but not yet read is "the lore of less" by Joshua Becker, which I am looking into. I read the life changing magic of tidying up by Marie kondo, and liked it, but it's not quite what I'm looking for. If anyone has tips, please let me know. If you're interested in this as well, another book I read and enjoyed was called STUFF, delving into the psychology and lives of hoarders. Very interesting. I do have some hoarding tendencies, although I like throwing things away. |
