My Botox lasted so much longer than I expected it to

I had it done for the first time in mid December, and though I have full range of motion now (really since about June) my perma-set wrinkle between my eyebrows (my "mad mommy" lines) aren't there unless I'm wrinkling them on purpose. When I'm relaxed, even now 7 mos later, there is no deep line anymore.
I'm debating if I should get another round now, before the line starts to re-appear 24/7, or wait awhile longer. Is there a benefit to getting the shot before you have the creases to keep them at bay, or should I wait until it's back to have my booster? |

OP here... I think he's great too! His prices are really good too. My first time it was $11/ per unit (his terminology escapes me now) and I needed 20 units? So it was only $220 for my line between my eyebrows and the lines across my upper forehead. When I go back, it will only be for the line between my eyebrows, so about $110 or less and I get 15% off as a 2nd returning customer. So, maybe $95? I <heart> him!!
Thanks for the advice on going back - I think I'll set up a time next week before I go on vacation. |

I live in Loudoun Co, so it may be far but heck, for a 2x per year trek, it may be worth it to you to save the money!!
It's a place called Spa Clinic in Gainesville, VA. Their website is spaclinic.net, and you can see their prices online. If I wasn't too chicken, they're having a promo on the fillers too, but I'm not brave enough for the permanence or the pain factor! (yet...) I am very happy with them, and I found them through my stylist who said lots of her customers go there. When there's a Botox party, I've heard it's even less $$ to have it done, but I never get to one. |

OP here, price update: I remembered wrong. His rates are $13 per unit and the line between my eyes was 20 units, so $260 before the 15% discount. The long line across my brow takes 10 units, but I didn't have that done today. Still a great doc, but the price isn't as low as I thought it was. |

I can beat your prices. Dr. Feledy at Belmont Plastic Surgery did mine at $13 a unit, but gave me a few extra units to "try" out the eyebrow arch. (Which I loved) He was in Besthesda Magazine, an article about him and botox parties. I think the rate was even lower. Although, you get the 15% discount as a returning patient, I wonder if he'll do something like that? Do you get the 15% for life? |

| I actually get 10% as a first time patient, then 15% off as a 2 time patient, then 20% as 3rd and finally 25% off for life. Not too bad, especially if you schedule each procedure as a separate visit... |

| There is a botox party this august at the mesdical spa in ashburn. discounts on botox and fillers all nite. i went to last one and it was fun and way cheaper. |

| Okay, so botox party at The Medical Spa at Nova was food and drink provided in beautiful room called "tranquility space" while we all hung out and chatted, talked to reps/estheticians about options, product, etc. They took us back one by one to private rooms to get our treatments. They have botox, juvaderm, restyline, and other stuff I am sure I don't know about. I haven't gotten my invite to the next party but I know they said it would be sometime in August. You can call the spa and talk to Gail. She is the director there and can tell you all about it. All I know is that it is a really great discount. The number is 703-554-1130. Its a really great facility. I also get my acupuncture there and amazing facials. Hope that answers your questions. |

To update my last post, I just got my invite form The Medical Spa at Nova.
The botox party is August 13th. The deal is $60 off botox and $75 off fillers. It starts at 5pm and there will also be makeup applications, paraffin treatments and chair massage. The RSVP number is 703-554-1130. See you there! |
